Make it last longer

I have been using Zero Water system for some time now and am very happy with the taste and the removal of all the stuff in my water. I live in Az and the water is pretty hard, lots of mining, read fracking, i just wish the filters would last longer. I go through one in less than a month
Depends on your location but in california one filter is good for one-two Months use. Better buy in bulk too as its cheaper and economical. The delivery just took time, other than that, surely i will purchase again

My wife and I have been using Zero Water filters for 8 years and it is the only water we drink. We fill up bottles if we are going on a trip and we never have to buy anything on the road, and why would we want to? There is no water available out there that is as clean and pure as what we get at home. The filters last us a long time as we only use it for drinking water, I have figured the actual cost to be less than $0.25/gallon which is incredibly cheap compared to purchasing bottled water and of course I am happier with this water over anything we would buy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I stumbled across Zero Water filters and pitchers about five years ago. The water where I live is undrinkable and even with heating the water for cooking it had a awful smell to it. I took a chance on the Zero water pitcher and filter and today not only do I still have the pitcher but the counter top tank and the large dispenser as well! I cook with Zero water, (and cooking is my profession as well) and I drink Zero water and I do not spend a dime on bottled water. This is without a doubt the finest water filtering system for home use that I have ever seen and as long as they keep making these filters I will keep buying them and recycling them as well.

Great filter, but doesn't last very long

When a new filter is installed the water tastes great, but the filter only lasts about two weeks. Sometimes I can get it to "stretch" into three weeks, but by then the water tastes funny. The water in the area I live is in the high range as outlined on the ZeroWater Web site, and based on their chart it appears that I'm on target for the change time. At this rate of usage I expect that the annual cost for filters will be in the $225-$250 range. The system is a five stage filter, but three of the five stages appear to be little more than passive screens. There are only two active (chemical) stages, including a carbon filter and a resin filter. While I really like the ZeroWater, the annual cost is high for "average" water areas. I would like to see a "large capacity" filter that doubles the amount of water that can be filtered. Ultimately purchasing 5 gallon bottled water is cheaper, but then you have to deal with a water cooler appliance. If you live in an area with low TDS then ZeroWater is a good deal. High TDS areas, not so much.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. When your unfiltered tap water has high levels of TDS your filters will exhaust quickly. For more information on the stages of the filter please visit "Why Choose ZW" on the zerowater.com page.

I used to distill my water. I've used my Zero Water Pitcher for many years now and have been very pleased with it. Many of my family members now used the Pitcher too.
