I purchased a ZeroWater pitcher, as I learned that my previous system did not remove lead and was not NSF certified as is the ZeroWater system. We recently had our first grandchild and wanted to be sure there was no lead in the water with which we mixed his formula. I tested a glass of water from the old system with the water tester provided with my ZeroWater pitcher and it registered 099! I was dismayed, as ZeroWater advises changing the filter when water registers at 006. When I tested the water from my new ZeroWater pitcher, it registered 000! I also like the spigot feature on the model I chose. There's no need to lift the pitcher all the time and we need to save our strength to lift the baby!
These filters really work great, the water that comes out of my kitchen faucet has a reading of 360 on the TDS meter, after going through the filter the taste is so clean and fresh, this is the way to go for great tasting water.
I first tried Zero Water at a friend's house. I thought it was a random water pitcher, but I notice I kept going back for more water without hesitation. That's unusual for me. Finally, after my 4th or so glass, I asked what kind of water this was. I knew something was different. That's how I was introduced to Zero Water. I had to have one for my home too!
