Save your money

I bought it 3days ago and put 2 gallons of water through it and the water that I was using is hard and had a TDS of around 200 and after the water passed through the water read 300 TDS. Thought it was a bad filter so I bought another filter and put one gallon in it and cam back as 0 TDS was happy till I put 2 more gallons in it then the water was reading 298 TDS on water that was 208 to start with. Grrrrrr

Just got it today and tested every water I been drinking and found that the tap water is better than any bottled water and the zero is better than all. I’m so happy I invested in this product thanks so much

Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. We empathize with your situation and we have spoken with many customers with this issue. Some of our customers have used other, traditional filtration systems, such as a Culligan Whole House Filter to treat the water prior to filtering through a Zero Water filter. In many cases that will cut the TDS level down enough to make the use of ZeroWater more economical.
There is very little we can do to extend the life of our filters when the water supply is so high in TDS. Our filters are designed to remove over 99% of dissolved solids; in areas with high TDS readings filter life will be short.

Great, with a drawback

I love these water filters. Seriously, cleanest water ever. We’ve used another system for many, many years…swapped to this one and the difference is incredible. But the drawback is the cost, and how often they have to be changed. It’s ridiculous. We have the 23c dispenser. We use the water for drinking only (including for our 4lb dog and 2 small birds). But the filter needs to be changed every 2-3wks. The weeks is pushing it. At the price of the filters, which is a hard pill to swallow regardless how good the water is, it’s just not cost effective.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Filters dont last as long as old zero water filter

Ever since the new company took over Zero water, the filters do not last as long before needing to be changed. It used to last 2 months before getting to a "6". The newly designed filter shot up to over 100 reading at a month and a half! The built in meter also is faulty. It is constantly wrong and says a brand new filter is bad, while my old zero water meter says its at zero. The meter is easily damaged by water. It has brown residue all inside the battery compartment. Please bring back the old system!!!

Been buying these for years and the combo of the ridiculous price and the honest fact that these don’t last nearly as long as they used to—I’m done. Not sure what happened over the years but you’ve lost my business.

Replacement Filter Issue

I love the way the water taste, but I am going through filters too quickly. When I first purchased the system the filter lasted about a month. I just changed the filter a week ago and now I have to change it again. I'm not sure it's worth the cost.
