I use my ZeroWater filter pitcher every day and love having the confidence that my drinking/cooking water is pure. I think it filters out fluoride, and I'm a bit concerned about that.

Filter backs up into water reservoir

I've been using these filters for the past 2 years. I recently purchased a 2 pack of filters and it seemed that maybe the filter was missing a screen because after filling the water reservoir for the first time, a lot of black debris and oily balls surfaced into the reservoir. Thinking it was a bad filter, I tried the other. The same thing happened. I bought a new pack from a different store. It seemed to be fine for a few days, and then the same thing happened. I'm not sure if I've just been unlucky with defective filters, or if production has changed.
Filters great, tester not so. I bought two zero water devices and cannot get either tester to work. I’ve replaced batteries but, though the testers turn on, I can’t get any readings. Therefore, I have no idea when the filters need replacing.

While the water getting down to zero TDS tastes great the erratic life of the filters is disappointing. We drink a lot of water, with consistent usage, and pretty consistent incoming water but some of our filters literally don't last a week before TDS is back to 10 or higher.
I have used ZeroWater filters for at least ten years. I highly recommend them. Why would anyone buy a nice liquor, then drop chlorine bombs laced with dissolved solids into what they paid good money.
If you’ve ever tried Zero Water but were turned off by wrestling with the black O-rings and their installation leaks, you owe it to yourself to see what a touch of blue can do. That little touch of blue seals in fresh taste, and seals out contamination and installation problems.

It was suggested by my nutrition counselor to try Zero Water filtration to take out chlorine and other metals. I like that it has the little tester in the initial kit. I'm spoiled now on this filtration system.
We have two Zero water filters. One on each level, a pitcher and a larger countertop filter. Our water isn’t terrible but Zero filtered water is so much better. I am very happy with both filters. I choose water over sodas.
