I’ve had the filter for almost two years and need to tell you it takes a good deal of patience and persistence to continue to use it as it’s difficult to screw the filter in correctly so it doesn’t leak. The water also doesn’t drain the whole way a lot of time. I only use it because I have old time lead pipes so I’m glad for it but when those pipes get replaced this spring, I will discontinue using the Zero Water.
Charcoal leaked into the water when the filters were brand new.

We are very sorry for the issue with your recent filter purchase, there was a very limited manufacturing issue that we have taken care of. Another 2 pack of filters has been ordered for you at no charge.
Went through 2 new filters in a month. Kept ending up with black carbon molecules at the bottom of our pitcher AND our hydro flasks. Ended up having to throw out both and replace them. Went with Brita instead, no problems so far with them!

I love water filtered by ZeroWater. My issue is the filters I’ve bought recently do not last as long as ones I have bought in the past.

Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. Due to the amount of variables involved we try and stay away from using time to determine filter life, instead we use gallons, a more constant form of measurement. Filter life is based solely off of the quality of the water being filtered. The higher the tap water is in dissolved solids the shorter the filter life will be.
