Of the 4 filters that I received one is broken around the rim and leaks unfiltered water into the filtered water tank part. The other filter makes the water taste like fish. Not happy at all.

We bought the 8 pack of the replacement filters after using the first filter. Not only the filtered water is clean, it tastes much better. We feel safe. We have been using ZERO water for more than a year and we never had any water borne health problem. Before ZERO water we used Brita and other filters, but now we dont feel safe with anyone else. We are going to stick with ZERO water from now on. We now plan to buy the 30 cup dispenser as we have bigger family with our child

Hurricane Irma

Have been using Zero filters since 2013. They work great, water tastes great, but since Hurricane IRMA, the filters are only lasting 1/3 as long as normal. We had several warnings advising not using the water without boiling first due to water main breaks. We went to bottled water during that time period. After the alerts were lifted I replaced the Zero filter, just in case, along with shower filters, but only 2 weeks later the Zero needed another replacement. I'm guessing it was the water quality after the shut down due to water main breaks during the storm. I replaced the filter for the 3rd time, and when an off taste started again two weeks later, I replaced it with the 4th filter. So far so good! Thank you.
The filter only last a week. Gets very expensive. Also, not crazy about a plastic container, I would prefer glass. I gave it 2 stars because it's fine for the first few days of use.

Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. We empathize with your situation and we have spoken with many customers with this issue. Some of our customers have used other, traditional filtration systems to treat the water prior to filtering through a Zero Water filter, in many cases that will cut the TDS level down enough to make the use of Zero Water more economical. There is very little we can do to extend the life of our filters when the water supply is so high in TDS. Our filters are designed to remove over 99% of dissolved solids; in areas with high TDS readings filter life will be short. Also, we do have a Glass container available https://zerowater.com/products/40-cup-glass-water-dispenser
I just got these filters and i have already gone through 1. The filters work great. I love using them. I don't know if i can afford them though. These get kind of pricey and i will use 3 a month.
