Service and fluoride filtering

I was given excellent service with an order. Also, I like that the pitcher filter removes fluoride because fluoride calcifies the pineal gland, which is bad for everyone.

The filters do a fantastic job and I've used them for 5 years. But - my first auto-shipment of 4 arrived in a jumbled state and they it took some work to put them in place. Afterward, they worked just fine. (Maybe a shipping company issue?)

Outstanding Clean Fresh Water

I've been using Zero Water filters for quite a few years and will never switch to an alternative. The water is clean, fresh and tastes great. It's my go-to every morning on the way to the gym. We also use it to supply our Tassimo and Soda Stream.

Quality Water you Can Taste

These filters are true to their word. They filter out all dissolved solids. This water filtration system ‘kills’ all other pitcher based water filters.

Filters have VERY SHORT Lifespan

I like these filters...BUT. They do not last long. ZeroWater claims, "Each water Filter is rated for 20 gallons, but filter duration is dependent on how much TDS needs to be filtered from your tap water. If your water has a high level of TDS, filters lifespan may not be as long."
I live in a area that, according to ZeroWater, has a TDS score of 274. I kept record and my filter only lasted 15 gallons, which was 2 weeks for me (adult male living alone). Also, I wish they would advertise their filter recycling program better.

We certainly appreciate your feedback, filter life is rated at 20 gallons because it is tested with tap water that has the National Average TDS Level of 200ppm. You are correct the higher the TDS level the shorter the life of the filter will be. Unfortunately that is just how the filter technology works and that cannot be changed. The only water we use in cooking and drinking

I originally purchased this because I wanted cleaner water for my coffee maker, but we also use it for everything now. I have one at work and one at home.I think it makes my k-cup style coffee maker last longer, and then I don't have to buy separate filters for it. Also, I work in a historic building (with historic pipes) so these filters get a work out.

you "got" some flaws

Flaw: Two: The lid is not constructed in a way help prevent pouring water from dislodging the the Lid and causing a big wet commotion. Flaw: One: When water is added to the filter container, the force of the water breaks the screens over the filter and allows filter contents to float into the top and reduces life. Flaw: Three: Nozzle doesn't clear the counter and breaks a thumb to push.

Does not filter up to 40 gallons
on June 17, 2023
Posted by: 1Water
I do admit my tapwater is really disgusting and the meter read 17. So maybe some peoples water is a lot better out of the tap than mine so you might get one filter to filter the max gallons. But these filters! don’t last 40 gallons. Mine lasted about 25 and then it started tasting like sour disgusting tap-water And was at a 6

Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. Filter life is based on the quality of the water being filtered. The higher the TDS reading the shorter the filter life and vice versa. Test your tap water and use the chart in the link below to determine the average number of gallons based on your specific tap water TDS reading.
