Best water filter ever

I got this because I wanted to see if the reviews were true. I had a purita filter so when I got this it cane with a tds reader. I tested it on my tap(230) purita filter(140) and zero filter(00). I thought maybe it was their tds playing tricks so I bought a different one and it was the same. I even have a survival life straw and this filtered everything way better. Now I only cook with zerowater filtered water. I love it

Wish filter lasted longer

I had first gen Culligan filter and believed enough in the idea to try their new “longer lasting” 2nd gen filter, bought a new pitcher, etc.
New “longer lasting” filter only lasts 1-2 weeks for our family of four. It’s a lot of hassle and expense to change the filters this often.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can be costly in areas with VERY BAD water.

My daughter bought this in Jan. and raved about how well it worked. So earlier this month I bought one too. It works incredibly well. Unfortunately for me the area I live has a VERY HIGH 475 TDS reading. So my filter lasted a couple weeks and it is done. My daughter lives in in a different area and her water is average 100 TDS. So, to make my filter go further I get bottles of water from her to filter. It's a little work :-( but my filter will last longer :-). I want to buy the large glass one when available.

Function and black smudges

I purchased about 4 months ago but did not open and begin using until 5 weeks ago. When I put the filter in it looked used.....black smudges all around. It was factory sealed so obviously poor quality control. I have the 10 cup pitcher....when you press the spout to dispense the water often times goes in a few directions so you need a wide mouth glass or it shoots everywhere. The top spout just gushes out.....very difficult to control the flow.
I am not happy at all with this pitcher however I just hope that it truly takes contaminants out of the water. I just reordered a filter to see if the condition is the same as the one I
originally got in the new pkg. BTW.....I have NEVER written a review before......I am that displeased with this product.

My body is a chemical injury survivor. Childhood high dose poisonous chemotherapy rewired my nervous system to detect toxins at levels "safe" for others. For me, tap water and most bottled water isn't just bad tasting; it's acutely toxic, causing instant neuroinflammation, migraines and brain fog.
ZeroWater is the only filter whose promise matches my biological reality. As a lighthouse is for boats, my body is beacon for hidden chemicals others cant detect but are Irreversible harm to your body , and your children body. The TDS meter doesn't lie. When it reads "000," my body confirms it: zero inflammatory response.

To potential buyers: If your filter clogs fast, be alarmed but not at ZeroWater. Be alarmed at what's in your pipes. This device is telling you the truth your body hasn't started screaming yet. Listen to it

Filter lasted less than a week

I was so excited when I got it. It lasted less than a week before the entire thing started to smell like fish. So disappointed. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
