I am having trouble with the water gage to measure solids. I put in a new filter last night and it is reading 025. I noticed that the water drips through edge on filter and I am not confident that it is completely filtered water.

The water leaking down the side of the filter is certainly what is causing the off reading on your new filter. Try giving the filter a good, solid extra quarter twist and it should seal up. If you continue to have issues please call or email us at 1-800-503-2939 or customerservice@zerowater.com
Arrived in tact in less than a week, assembly and changing to new filter easier than it was for a while. The silicone ring around circumference of filter fits well and threads without problem. Water is filtered into pitcher in just a few minutes - no back log. Basically tasteless, which is desirable indicator of minimum ppm.

I LOVE my Zero Water filter, never considered the cost of replacement filters because I enjoy the fresh good taste of my water it provides. Recently my kids talked me into using the water to make my coffee with and wow what an increase in the flavor (of my black )coffee which I drink about 1.5 to 2 pots a day. Any way I also saw an increase in filter replacement, once again Zero Water came to the rescue. By ordering in quantity from them I have reduced my filter cost by about 40 percent.

These filters last a good amount of time. These seem a bit pricey, but they clear out dangerous particals so it's worth the money.
The water tastes great but we aware that if the worse the tap water and if there are a lot of people in your family using the water than you will replace the filters quite often abs it gets expensive. The water starts tasting bad at 3 ppm before the 6 ppm they recommend changing it at. Also once you hit 3-6 ppm the filtered water starts tasting worse than the tap water itself which is makes you have to change the filter again. This is disappointing as my Brita never did that. It’s nice to know the water is cleaner but then when it tastes bad abs you change it or makes you feel like you are just wasting money on filters. I had one extra family member visiting and we are already a family of 4 with 2 children who drink mainly water abs I had to change thx filter after a week one time otherwise I dint go more than a few weeks.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. Filter life is based on the quality of the water being filtered. The higher the TDS reading of the tap water, the shorter the filter life and vice versa. Coupons are available for print at https://zerowater.com/pages/promotions-savings#coupon

I have forgotten how many years I've used these filters, but it's more than 5 years. I usually purchase them in cases of 12 or 16 and they go on sale around holiday times so I can stock up several times a year. This is the only drinking water I use at home. Will always use ZeroWater.
Gives you very clean, nice tasting water. We use this for our sodastream and the water quality is excellent

Filter failure

I've had Zero water contain for a few years now. I love that it filters well. However, the last batch of filters that I bought 2 (4 packs) do not filter well. I've had this issue where I put in a brand new one and the water will not flow through it. I thought that it was may be a bad batch of filters so I bought a 2nd pack (4 pack) but have had the same problems. I've tried to remove air bubbles and this helps for a couple of filters then again the filter stops working! It's ridiculous, I end up throwing away a brand new filter and trying the next only to have it happen again.

We certainly apologize for the continued frustrations with the filters, the filter getting air locked like this is a common occurrence with a gravity fed filtration system. Unfortunately it is just somewhat the nature of the technology, generally if you put an inch of water in the reservoir and then grip the middle section of the filter with both hands and firmly squeeze the filter in a pumping action until you are completely certain that there is no more air coming out of the top of the filter this will solve the issue for the life of that filter. If you do not clear all of air from the filter this issue will continue to compound itself over and over. Also never fill the reservoir directly from the faucet or spigot from your sink as this is naturally aerated and will force air down inside the filter. It is best to fill the reservoir with a large glass or measuring cup and pour into the corner of the reservoir away from the center of the filter. If there is ever a filter that simply just will not fix itself when the aforementioned trouble shooting steps have been followed we are more than happy to replace that filter. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
