Zero Water is a great company that makes a superb product. Their filtered water tastes clean and refreshing. The pitcher unit is very easy to assemble and wash, and the water purity easy to test. I especially love the water meter tester they included with the pitcher I am so glad I found Zero Water so I no longer have buy heavy bottles of water.

The filter, when working properly, removes contaminants from water as advertised, yielding high quality pure water.
However, the filters often fit poorly onto the Zero Water filter holder, and about every fourth filter seems to be a dud. By that I mean water passes so slowly through it that we give up and toss the filter.
Although I was only asked to review the filters themselves, the large glass container for holding the water we bought from Zero Water needs frequent attention. We have to watch for leaks and fuss with the rubber gasket until the leak stops.
When I said the filter and gasket fit poorly into the filter holder, by that I mean you have to fuss with it, screwing it in very tightly to keep unfiltered water from getting around the filter and contaminating the water in the main container.
Apart from the above issues, the filter does a very good job.

I am hard pressed to buy any other filter. These filters take tap water and make it taste like it came from a fresh mountain spring. I haven't experienced anything like it. Why buy water when you can invest in something that fills all your water needs without the huge plastic waste?

I love Zero Water. Taste is pure and delicious. Although the tester malfunctioned pretty quickly, I know that I need to replace the filters 2x per month, since the water in my town is not great. I'm delighted with the taste after every filter change. I looked into a system in my house and decided that Zero Water is the best value for the money.
