These only last a week?

Ive been using these filters for a while but the last box of 6 I ordered are horrible. Each filter has only lasted a week before the water starts tasting terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have a high degree of confidence in the ZeroWater system but when the filter locks up and won't allow the water to filter down it is inconvenient and having to take it apart to tap out the air bubbles means that my hands are all over the filter and it then must be cleansed to assure bacteria free process.

We certainly apologize for the continued frustrations with the filters. If you do not clear all of air from the filter this issue will continue to compound itself over and over. Also never fill the reservoir directly from the faucet or spigot from your sink as this is naturally aerated and will force air down inside the filter. It is best to fill the reservoir with a large glass or measuring cup and pour into the corner of the reservoir away from the center of the filter. If there is ever a filter that simply just will not fix itself when the aforementioned trouble shooting steps have been followed we are more than happy to replace that filter. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
