I have found the Zero Water system to be a life-saver. I have CKD and believe that having water free of contaminants and metals is allowing me to have a clean source of water. The taste is fresh and the smell is nonexistent. I have been using the Zero Water for many years and feel it is well worth the cost of replacement filters.
Saved a lot of money by using the ZeroWater instead of buying bottled water. The water filtered by ZeroWater taste much better than bottled water and no more carrying heavy case of bottled water, too!
I frequently have to jar the pitcher against the counter to get the water to filter down. It is annoying to occasionally go to poor water and find out has not filtered into the pitcher after an hour or so . It doesn't matter if the filter has recently been replaced or not

Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. From time to time the filter can develop an air lock, some little air pockets or air bubbles that get trapped down inside the filter. Typically this is an easy and quick fix, simply remove the filter from the container and unscrew it from the tray. Then hold the filter sideways/horizontal and grip the filter very tightly and shake the filter with some good force side to side and back and forth 8 to 10 times. This will loosen the filter media and break the air lock.
ZeroWater filtration system is the best system I've had the opportunity to try. I've purchased the filters in quantity as I don't like running short and having to wait for a replacement to arrive. The water is wonderful to taste, boils well and cooks vegetables without any adverse taste.
