I love ZeroWater filters over some of the others on the market. I feel very confident in their performance. I've used them for many years (too many to count).
We love our Zero Water filter and the convenience of purchasing replacement filters. It is so easy to reorder and to know when it is time to replace the filter. Easy peasy!
Filters are very slow. It takes several hours to filter the water. I’ve tried shaking the filter but it didn’t fix it.

We certainly apologize for the continued frustrations with the filters, typically this is an easy and quick fix, simply remove the filter from the container and unscrew it from the tray. Then hold the filter sideways/horizontal and grip the filter very tightly and shake the filter with some good force side to side and back and forth 8 to 10 times. This will loosen the filter media and break the air lock. If you do not clear all of air from the filter this issue will continue to compound itself over and over. Also never fill the reservoir directly from the faucet or spigot from your sink as this is naturally aerated and will force air down inside the filter. It is best to fill the reservoir with a large glass or measuring cup and pour into the corner of the reservoir away from the center of the filter. If there is ever a filter that simply just will not fix itself when the aforementioned trouble shooting steps have been followed we are more than happy to replace that filter. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Chicago's water isn't that bad, but using Zero water filters really makes a big deference. The tast is surprising. I had 2 glasses, my adult kids an grand kids over. Not telling them about the filtered water test I'm doing. Have each tast 1 city water an zero water. They all picked Zero water. So i bought a pitcher and filters for them. Plus i don't have to clean my coffee maker as often ( K CUPS ) And ( CUIESINET 12 cup ). The heating element. Good product, Thanks. Happy customer.
We've been using ZeroWater filters and counter top dispenser for years. We are on a community well and also the maintenance company puts a lot of chlorine in the system especially if there is a break in the lines . Some mornings I'll turn on a faucet and the water smells like bottle of chlorine bleach. These filters completely eliminate the chlorine and other substances and TDS. Expensive but they're the best filters on the market. Plus, the filtered water tastes great. Makes our coffee and tea taste good too.
