Easy to use. Works well. The water assessment tool is a big help when deciding the best time to replace the filter.

My filters only last 2 to 3 weeks before the water is nasty again. It's really disappointing and expensive 😭

Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. We empathize with your situation and we have spoken with many customers with this issue. Some of our customers have used other, traditional filtration systems such as a Culligan Whole House Filter to treat the water prior to filtering through a Zero Water filter, in many cases that will cut the TDS level down enough to make the use of Zero Water more economical. There is very little we can do to extend the life of our filters when the water supply is so high in TDS. Our filters are designed to remove over 99% of dissolved solids; in areas with high TDS readings filter life will be short.
I run a couple of gallobs of water a day through the filter and its still reading 000. Its been several weeks since i started using the pitcher and filter. Im very happy with the results.

I love the taste of the water however I didn't receive any care instructions and in less than a month the water is coming out black. When I searched your sight to find out how you clean it there is no information that I could find??? I want instructions!!! The rating will remain low until someone tells me where to find COMPLETE CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS!!!
So far not real pleased with these filters. So far 2 out of 3 filters I have used, the water trickles thru super slow so it takes too long to fill the water and after a few fills, the water tastes weird like citrus. These filters are too cheap to waste

ZeroWater's Ion-exchange resin filters are a reliable and efficient way to get delicious, filtered water. They work by exchanging ions in the water with regenerated ions from the resin beds, which can remove a variety of contaminants from water, including lead, nitrates, sulfates, calcium, magnesium, and other heavy metals. The exchanged ions bind with the contaminants, making them much easier to filter out. Our combination of cation and anion exchange resins can reduce 99.6% of dissolved contaminants in your water. However, when the filter is exhausted no more contaminants can be filtered out and an unpleasant smell and taste may be present. This is a common cause of overuse and can also occur by pouring hot water into the filter or freezing it. Be aware, though, that while the smell is unpleasant, it does not indicate any harm or danger. It is only time to replace your filter. Change your filter once the TDS meter reads 006. From time to time the filter can develop an air lock, some little air pockets or air bubbles that get trapped down inside the filter. Typically this is an easy and quick fix, simply remove the filter from the container and unscrew it from the tray. Then hold the filter sideways/horizontal and grip the filter very tightly and shake the filter with some good force side to side and back and forth 8 to 10 times. This will loosen the filter media and break the air lock.
Love this product. However, one of the filters just did not allow enough water to flow through it and eventually had to discard it because it was completely clogged. Have had this happen with other filters. These are not cheap filters and expect better quality.
