If you only have Mac's, then your going to have a hard time with the USB option. I can FAT format on my Macbook Pro & Desktop Macpro, the 1080p9 recognizes the Flashdrive, but won't recognize any of the files. I have to burn AVi's to CD or place a few on a DVD recordable. PC formatted USB devices work fine though. I'd really like to see an update with the ability to FORMAT USB DEVICES. Everyone doesn't have access to an IBM compatible Samsung, or an update so the 1080p9 can recognize devices in other formats would be nice. This DVD player can rip CD's and save the information to a USB device, so I don't think the ability to format a USB device should be too hard (should it?) Do I really have to buy an IBM compatible PC just to format my flash/hard-drives Samsung?? PS. I have not experienced any problems with .AVI files stopping on me. This DVD player has worked flawlessly. FIRMWARE UPDATE..PLEASE! :)
I would recommend this to a friend!
