THIS IS AN EXCEPTIONAL PRODUCT. THE LARGE CAPACITY AND THE STEAM CLEANING WAS BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS. I WILL PURCHASE THE MATCHING DRYER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AS WELL AS A BLU-RAY DVD WHEN MONEY BECOMES AVAILABLE. LG HAS MADE A "HUGE" CHANGE IN MY LIFE. THIS WAS MY FIRST FIRST EXPERIENCE AND WILL NOT BE MY LAST!!

Steam Washer

This is my first front load washer. The wash time is pretty long but the clothes seem to be clean. I can't see how they can get so clean with so little water! I haven't tried the steam setting yet but plan to use it on my pillows. It won't let me do some settings I think I should be able to but I'm still learning how to use all the bells and whistles this thing has. It's like finding new features on a new car!
Pros: easy to use, Performance, Style/Design

great washer

Overall this has been a great washer. It is extremely quiet and has no vibration whatsoever. Though we did have to remove carpet and reinforce the floor prior to installation of our stackables. This washer does a great job of cleaning and appears to be easy on fabrics. It has a large capacity and does a good job of spinning the water out so clothes are not too wet. My only real complaint is that I often get the "UE" error meaning uneven load when doing a throw rug, towels, or even one blanket. If I do not catch it right away, it loses memory of where it left off so I don't know if it has rinsed or not, so I have to reset the washer to do only a rinse and spin. That is my only gripe. If I hear the beeps and am able to rearrange the load, then it will resume where it left off. Still so many features to try, this is still new to me. I would recommend it, and shop around.

Quiet and efficient

We purchased the LG Steam Washer on New Years Day. I did lots of reading and comparisons on washers. I was interested in a High Efficiency Washer. I am impressed by how quiet and smooth this machine operates, however what impresses me most is that it uses about 1/3 of the water the previous machine use, thus saving me water and sewer rates. I am definitely impressed with the LG line of appliances

This washer was recommended to me by my contractor. Also several plumbers. I have waited several years in order to get it. It is everything that I had hoped that it would be. It washes big heavy rugs just great. And the towels and clothes come out clean and smelling good.

The machine performs flawlessly. I am very happy.
It is amazing how quietly it operates and how clean the clothes become using less detergent then on my previous top-loader with an agitator.
I would recomment this machine to all.
I was a little disappointed when it arrived, less the pedistal. The web site is not as clear if it is included with this model, as with the others.
Buy it!

Awesome Washer/Dryer

Was reluctant to spend this much on a washer/dryer set ... but am sure glad I did. Washer is unbelievably quiet and clothes seem to be much cleaner than my old top loader could ever get them. Also love the super large capacity so I can even wash a king comforter at home.
Pros: Performance, quiet, large capacity
Cons: long cycle times
