Doesn't use as much water as my previous top load. Very quite, easy to use and has the capacity to effectively clean king size bedding that I previously had to take to the laundromat.

Operating time is longer than top loader washing machines but the clothes are cleaner. This washer uses very little water. My water bill went down after the first month. Consumer Reports rates this washer very highly. I also purchased the dryer that goes with this washer and I am very satisfied.

We stumbled upon LG while shopping for a new washing machine. It had more bells and whistles than we probably need (I've not used the steam) but it was great looking and recommended for quality. Except for the inconvenience of bending down to load and unload (while the interior is illuminated with wondrous blue light!), it is an amazingly wonderful washer, cleaning and nearly drying our clothes in record time. And it plays a happy song when the load is done!

We have had our new LG washer and dryer for about a week now and it has been going pretty much constantly during the day since. I love how easy it is to set the cycles and my husband and I both commented on how different the laundry feels now. It actually feels cleaner (no detergent residue feel) and smells fresher. Socks that I though my husband had stained have come out white with just detergent. Obviously we haven't had the set long enough to give any long term review but so far so good!
The only two things we don't like and is really not that big of a deal is the length of time some of the wash cycles take and we wish LG would have stuck with the round doors, just more attractive in our opinion.

I have never had a front-loader washer before and after this, I am sold! It has gotten set in stains out of baby clothes that I never expected to come clean. The washer looks complicated, but is actually really easy to use. It is very quiet too. My water bill has sure dropped and it spins the clothes so well that my dryer works in half the time. You have to shake the clothes out before putting them in the dryer to minimize wrinkles and it is a bit pricey.

I've had this machine for several months now. It is still working fine. My clothes come out clean. There is very little water usage. It is quiet and the bells and the done alarm are pleasant to hear. There is only one thing I would change. The tub clean cycle only uses cold water. Hot or even warm water would be much better to cut soap scum with. Other than that, this machine has been doing a fine job.

I enjoy using this washer so much I look forward to doing Laundry. I find cloths are actually softer using steam wash and when it is time to remove clothing it takes a much lesser time to dry them a big plus I have noticed a saving in utilities.

Cons: i have nothing bad to say a fantasatic washer.

This front load washer hold a large load well. It takes very little detergent ...1 tablespoon (15 ml) and very little water. Love the delay to turn on feature. I put a load in before bedtime and in the AM its ready to hang. Remembering to dry the door seal/glass as well as drying the detergent dispensers after use is bothersome but worth it or there is a musty smell. It is a case of the thing you own really owning you I think. The door is large and makes loading and unloading effortless. The manual has a lot of information and is easy to read. Recommend taking the time to read it first.
