Great buy!

I've had this washer for about a month and I couldn't be happier. It is a quiet, large-capacity washer that does not disappoint. I rated the Ease of Use low because I don't like having to scroll through the options with a button push. I think I would rather have a knob to turn. But maybe I'll get used to it. :)
The guys who installed it didn't balance it properly, but we were able to get out the manual, use a little teamwork, and get it balanced without any problems.
Before purchasing, we knew we wanted something that will last us a long time, and I definitely feel like we have made a sound investment with this washer.
Pros: Features/Settings, Performance
Cons: Difficult to use

We recently replaced our 15 year old washer that finally died with this fabulous LG. We chose LG for its reputation for quality and for the direct drive feature that is more reliable. Wow- is it ever quite too!! That is very important to us. The laundry gets so much cleaner and dryer, and there is no more guessing on how much water to add, because it figures it out for you! It is so easy to use- we love the selection of features. Plus this washer is extremely energy efficient. We actually call dibs on who gets to do the laundry, and love the cute chime when its done. I guess we have to admit- we're smitten! Thanks LG

For now, I think it is a best value quality price. Go for it. With 3 kids at home it is a everyday use. Perfect wash and I can't wait to see the economy of detergent and energy.

1st new washer in 17 years!

My son was moving and his new place did not come with a washer or dryer. I got to thinking that well maybe I could help him and me out at the same time. My washer and dryer were 17 years old and I am slowly converting everything over to energy saving appliances.
I heard alot about front load washers but was leary because I liked my old top loader.
I thought laundry soap would be more expensive but energy cost savings and less wear and tear on the clothes helped me to decide on a front loader. I reseached front loaders and found LG to have very good ratings.

I bought the washer and matching drier. I am very pleased so far. It does a very good job. The clothes seem to come out much cleaner and drier hence less energy used to dry the clothes.

I have owned several washers in my life. This is the quietest washer I have ever owned, the most economical, and this is the only one that played music to tell me it was finished instead of screaming at me with loud buzzers. My clothes are clean, I am happy,

I chose this washer because it uses less water and electricity than top loaders. I like that it's quiet when it runs, but the cycles are much longer than a top loader. Also, there's no way to lock the door (to prevent a child from getting in) without a cycle running (the manual leads you to believe you can!). It uses much less detergent than a top loader so you save that way too!

I love this washer!!!!!! I can stuff everything in it--I've had to buy more clothes ;) It's very quiet and my clothes come out practically dry. It's just a little to close to the floor, but I'd still buy it...Thanks

I purchased this washer to replace my old toploader. So far this washer has worked wonderfully. I have read the reports about mold build up in front loaders, so I make sure that I follow the recommended cleaning procedures. Its only been two weeks so I am still in the honeymoon phase of ownership but I am pleased.
Pros: easy to use
