This machine takes a little adjustment period. I have only had it a week, but it is so very different from the top loader I had for the last 12 years. It draws a little water and stops tosses the clothes around, draws a little water and stops, tosses the clothes around and it does this a couple of more times. There is never any standing water in the machine, but the clothes are wet. I am excited at the water savings alone. I am pleased with the purchase. Especially due to the price I paid for the set on Black Friday sale. I wish it had a quick wash setting on it though. That is the only down fall that I have found.

I own both the washer and dryer. I read several good and bad reviews, but I wanted a front load set. The LG has many great features and it was a great value. I've not had any problems with mine, but I did buy the extended warranty just in case. It has been a great choice for me and my family.

Great washer with adequate features at a cheap price. Our water used has dropped substantailly and cloths come out almost dry. Only draw back is the washer caused water hammer in the house water line because water pressure was too high and required installation of water hammer arrester and pressure reducer valve.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: will not tolerate high water pressure

Extremely satisfied with the performance of this modest sized water-conserving front-loader. For the price it really is a remarkable unit. Wash is always excellent, better than top-loaders. Appreciate the large loads it can accommodate compared to the larger top-loaders -- even a bulky comforter which I used to have to take to the laundromat. And the very high speed spin gets the clothes much dryer thus saving on fuel and time in the dryer and giving softer fabric feel because so much of the detergent gets more fully extracted along with the excess moisture.
Like all these newer high efficiency machines, it takes some getting used to and some change in habits. The very low water levels are disturbing at first but the clothes come out clean anyway! Going easy on the quantity of detergent added per load is also important. Leaving the door ajar after use to dry out the washing chamber to avoid mildewing is a necessity.

I LOVE this washing machine!! Having 3 small children, I am constently doing laundry. (at least 2 loads per day) Its super easy to use, quiet while running, and the clothes come out beautifully clean and almost dry. I love the stacking feature as well, it saves a ton of space, while still being able to wash a queen size comforter! I have never had such an amazing washing machine, and have recommend it to both my friends and family.

I purchased this machine to replace a top loading machine in order to save utilities and water. It states you should use only He detergent but I have found that it works just as well with regular deteregent so do not throw out your left over.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: long wash cycles
