I've had the BD3600 for about 6 months now. The wireless setup was super easy for getting netflix and pandora running.
The bluray player is flawless. I haven't had any problems with disc media.
Some difficulties with connecting to local network computers, but that's not what I bought it for.
Now that the firmware updates allow playback of youtube i can't think of much more this player could do. Great buy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Most Versatile Blu Ray Player Available for Your $

If you want the best image quality available for movies and videos, Blu Ray is currently the BEST format available. If you want to view NOT ONLY Blu Ray, but wish you could find a HD media center in one box that could play HD Video, Movies, and Music from Multiple sources INCLUDING your home computer... Then look NO FURTHER. Samsung's BD-P3600 does it ALL! I've had a Sony Blu-Ray player for 2 years and for the price I paid, I should have just bought a PlayStation3. My Sony player is SO SLOW in loading video! It litterally takes 3-5 minutes to load a Blu-ray Disc and I have to MANUALLY update it 3 -4 times a year by downloading updates from Sony's website, burning an image disc and then installing it in my Blu-Ray player. Oh, and if the power fluctuates AT ALL during installation, I can kiss my Sony Player good bye.
I just purchased the Samsung BD-P3600 player at HALF the price I paid for my Sony Blu Ray player 2 years ago, and it's SO much faster in loading Blu-Ray discs than my Sony player. The Samsung player has built-in Wi-Fi (Dongle is required and INCLUDED) that not only auto-updates my player, but also allows me to watch HD Net Flix Movies immediately, listen to Pandora's internet radio, and watch my own video content by plugging in a flash drive, or if I wanted to, view files over my WiFi from a shared folder on my PC.
If you DON'T have Wifi or cable internet connection, could care less about watching movies from Blockbuster, Netflix, or listening to Internet Radio, then this player is NOT for you. There are several other models for less that don't incorporate those features.
However if ANY of those features interest you, then you should DEFINITELY be happy with the BD-P3600. I know that I AM!

Disappointed

Wasn't even able to play a Blu-Ray disc, it wouldn't work. Tried to update software, no go, and now I have a blue screen and the menu won't even come up. Nice, huh? Sending it in for repair, and I have to pay the shipping. The sytem is not even a week old. Samsung should send me a brand new one...

I decided to purchase this player, because I was very happy with all other Samsung products that I have and had in the past. However, this new Blu-ray Player was a real lemon. When it runs it make a noise comparable to a car with bad ball bearings. I was very dissapointed with the lack of Quality Control of this product. I was expecting more from Samsung

Works Great

We have truly enjoyed this Blu-ray product as it gives a truly remarkable picture and GREAT sound thru our 7.1 system. The only problem that we incurred was hooking up the wireless to a D-Link router. I talked to both manufactures w/o
any luck. I wish Samsung would have gotten together with some of the major router Companies to have worked out the details. I used a device that sends/ receives the information thru a device that uses existing wiring to hook-up to the computer and internet. Since then we receive Netflix & Pandora fine and thru Netflix, we download movies to the extent that we have dropped HBO, & the other premium stations.

Worth it....

I have to say I love the product. Easy is how the consumer likes it, and Samsung did it right. With this product, you want to make sure you have the computer system to run this device. That is, any computers within the last 2-3 years that wasn't cheap will work with this device.
Now if we can only get Blockbuster with a better program. I like movies on Demand, but to pay for it. People might as well stay with Comcast.... anyway.... other then that, I'll have to say its worth it.
