Clear & sharp picture; with no need of a sound bar

From watching sports to movies, this unit is outstanding.
I have been following my Golden State Warriors and the fast paced action is so clear and the sound of the crowds so intense, I do not have to attend a live game.
I did not think I would ever need a 65" screen, but now I can not see another smaller screen I am spoiled by my new TV
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, Features/Settings

Very happy with this unit

I'll be honest, I'm not as picky as other people are. The blacks are not so great. When the screen is displaying white text on a black background, I see a general gray haze, brighter in some spots than others. But, except when credits are rolling, viewing text on a black screen isn't what I watch. When watching the Superbowl with a big group of about 20 people, everybody seemed to think it was great.
It has no "smart" features. So what? I've got an XBOX and plenty of other devices.
Its digital tuner seems to work very well. It picked up 100 local channels. Of course, they are mostly useless garbage channels, but, that's not the TV's fault. So, I was impressed with the tuner.
Seems like I might want to increase brightness setting when the room is bright, but the default setting seemed fine for the Superbowl with it dark outside.
It of course is not 4K, but it is debatable as to how useful that really is to the human eye. Regular HD is very clear to the human eye and 4k only is marginal improvement.
So, sure, I know some people who are demanding might want more. But, this was totally great value to me.

Good TV

Great picture, wish it had more ports (HDMI, game, sound, etc). Still learning the set and trying to figure out how to include alternate sound setup short of a sound bar to include all components. Amazed at the picture quality, overall a good set.

Not good for the hearing Impaired

I have an elderly family member who is hearing impaired. She uses wireless headphones that allow her to control the volume so she can hear the TV while other family watch with out being deafened by the volume. There is no audio out ports on this TV except the headphone jack which cuts off the sound for the rest of the family. NOT GOOD LG. Otherwise TV is great, especially since elderly family member is also visually impaired, She can now see the images much better than on the old 40 inch we had before.
Pros: needs to have audio out ports for hearing impaired
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this TV

First ever "big screen" TV...the picture is unbelievably sharp and clear. Movies are a delight, you can see such incredible detail. I have recommended this TV to several of our friends and family members

Great TV for the price

This TV does everything I want. I did not want a smart TV, but I wanted one with lots of inputs, 3 are HDMI. Also, it has a great TV Over the Air tuner. It's thin and sleek/

Extremely high-quality picture!

This HDTV has an extremely high-quality picture and is very user friendly. I also really like the multiple picture/sound options, which allows the user to optimize the image quality and sound based off what they are watching.
