No different from a traditional washer

The product came with the adapter which makes life so much easier. All I have to do is snap it on to the faucet and snap it off when I'm done. It's not a loud machine at all. The most I hear is the swishing of the water. I also like that it has departments to pour my detergent, bleach, and fabric softener. The machine washes my clothes very well. My clothes come out clean and nearly dry. Thanks GE I now almost have a full functioning apartment. Based on the great experience with this washer I will now buy the matching dryer! You pay for what you get and my money was well spent!

Hesitant at first... but happy we bought it!

I wasn't sure I would like this washer when we first bought it. I was afraid it would be too small and it would be difficult to move around. It is a little awkward to move and unfortunately for us it was too powerful for our faucet and it was causing leaks. But, luckily it comes with the option to install it into existing water pipes which we did (we used an existing dishwasher hookup*) and now love it! It takes longer than a regular washer, between 45-60 minutes for a typical load but it does clean the clothes as well as a standard machine. It is smaller than a typical washer, however, it holds more than I anticipated. I only do maybe 1 extra load a week with it. The other bonus to having it installed is that I don't have to control the water temperature myself using the faucet. Our kitchen faucet goes from cold to scalding hot quickly and I was worried about trying to get the temperature right with the faucet handles for warm washes. However, with it installed I just select the water temperature I want and hit start.
Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. Without it we would not be able to do laundry in our condo.
*To add to the install part we were told the new standard washing machines required a larger pipe than our condo unit had so we could not install a regular washing machine. This portable unit, our plumber said was fine to hook into the narrower, outdated plumbing that we have.

I bought this because I live in a small apartment and it works perfect for us. I even could fit a full size comforter in it and it even has a clean cycle.

Great washer

Great portable washer, excellent features and quiet. My only issue is rolling it into the kitchen. Should have 4 wheels instead of two. I am looking to purchase portable casters to put underneath the washer for easier portability.

Replaces 1990 GE washer in limited W/D condo space

I like it. I just got it a few days ago. I have read all the reviews and questions here plus the manual to help get myself acquainted with the machine.
Many reviews state it is so quiet. My old machine must have been really quiet as I think this one is somewhat noisy. I was sure my neighbor was wondering what all the noise over here was about. But when I asked, she said she didn’t hear a thing. And then I did see a link listed here about noise & checked it out. I now know & understand what I am hearing and feel better about it.
I loved my old machine’s fabric dispenser and lint catcher so was a little worried about having and liking a new version of those. But I have to say, I find that both new versions work great.
I have done 3 loads of laundry in the new washer… one ladies Sherpa lined jacket, a load of clothes and a queen size deep sides bed sheet SET with 3 pillow cases. I did use the deep fill for the clothes & the sheet set because the water level seemed to make the items way too crowded to move during the swishes. I didn’t think it “sensed” enough on its own to raise the water level. I tried to do the thing with adding a 2nd deep fill after the initial deep fill which I read about here but that did not work.
Overall tho, I felt the water level was very good for washing and rinsing for all 3 loads. I loaded the same amount of items into this new washer as I did into my old washer. Nothing came out twisted or more wrinkled than it had in my old washer. I had no trouble with the sheet set load.
I put everything into the washer around the edges like there was an invisible agitator as my old washer had. I watched it during its various cycles because I was curious as to how this would all work without an agitator. While it was washing and rinsing, the items were submerged and swishing in the water across the tub. I was surprised that at the end of the wash cycle and at the end of the rinse cycle I could see the Infusor clearly at the bottom. ALL the items were hugging along the outside of the tub.
So far, I am very pleased with the machine.
