Huge tub for small spaces

Just received, used it twice and love it! Wish it remembered the last settings for load size, automatically detected load size or chimed when the entire cycle was complete. Otherwise, it has a huge basin and is quieter than the ancient SpaceMaker I had before.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This washer exceeded my expectations. I was totally impressed with the capacity of the unit as well as the cleaning of my clothes. I live in a apartment and the machine is very quiet....Love it!!!!!!

I've had portable washers for 15+ years. Getting used to an impeller instead of an agitator is different but, if loaded correctly, the clothes move around and come out clean. I went from an old reliable from a major U.S. catalog retailer for 14 years to a Canadian based brand that failed miserably after 5 months so I'm happy to pay more for the GE quality, capacity and performance.

Washer is easy to use. I use it as a portable machine in my kitchen and it is light enough to move back and forth to the sink with little effort.
My only complaint is that there is no place to latch the rubber intake/output hose when using this as a portable.

Nice washer but not portable

I bought this washer because it is supposed to be portable. The washer itself works great but it is hardly portable. You can slide it forwards and backwards but if any turns are involved, it leave black marks on the floor. Why would you make a portable washer that has to wheel over to be attached to a kitchen sink and then make it so difficult to move?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
