This machine is HUGE, packed with features and quiet as ever! I was totally blindsided by the craftsmanship! It's awesome! But, it's a GE after all! It was pricey! But, you get what you pay for! A great investment and a game changer for me!

too expensive, but works

We had little choice due to the size of the space. The lack of choice is frustrating. That said, once I realized what I needed, this choice is OK. I've only run one load,it got the clothes clean, was quiet and worked.

Great capacity and performance

I have owned and used the washer for nearly two months, and it has completely solved my dilemma of common laundry room sharing in my condo association. It handles all of my items including king sized sheets.

Good Portable Washer

Bought this washer to replace the previous version of this GE. That washer lasted 13 years with no problems, hope this one is as good. I live in a very small house, where full size appliances will not fit. This machine has lots of options for washing cycles, holders for powdered detergent, bleach and fabric softener. No agitator vane, so easy to load cloths and add liquid detergent. Regular loads use less water, but a heavy duty cycle works great on really dirty cloths. My favorite option is the cycle lock which prevents any changes while the machine is running. My cat can't change the washing cycle when he jumps up to nap on the running machine.
Cons - There is now a plastic safety cover to install on the bottom of the washer. The low rug in my utility room makes it difficult to wheel the machine over to the sink. Also this washer is quite expensive. If you have room for a full size washer, you can spend less money.
I've been using the washer since July, and am pleased with its' performance.
I would recommend this to a friend!
