I bought this washer after my other one completely gave out. Oh My!! I was so disappointed in this washer. The first time I used it, I literally wondered if it was getting my clothes clean. The agitator barely moves. Then the second disappointment came, the washer constantly get out of balance. We have checked to see if the washer is level and it is. I have to go in and rearrange the clothes on almost every load. I have tried different wash cycles to see if it will improve but it has not. I cannot turn it on and go outside or anywhere I can't hear the washer. It will literally walk out of the room. I have also tried loading the washer in different ways, folding items such as pants or big towels to see if that will help and it does not. I have never had this happen in my life. Yes I realize washers do get out of balance sometimes, but almost every load is not good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We just started using our washing machine, but so far it seems to be working
great! The clothes come out so rung out that they aren't even going to need a lot of drying time, which makes us very happy.

Wish I had bought one sooner. I waited till my old washer was completely useless before I finally broke down and bought a new one. This washer is alot quieter than the older models. Yes I still hear the humming sounds from a washer machine. I am glad to have the choice to buy a top loading washer machine. We have jobs where there is alot of soil that needs to removed from the clothing. This washer really gets the clothes clean. The time it takes is short. I just bought the washer, but believe me, if I have any problems I will promptly do another review.
