Not as good as same model past years

This is the only model that fits in my space. It broke right away and needed to be replaced. It is seriously lacking the delicate cycle that was in the past model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Good Washer

I like the washer as it was a replacement for a much older one that was in my house when I purchased it October 2015. I just wish I could get hotter water in the washer for sheets and towels. I understand that all new washers have a setting on them that prevents hot water from coming in due to some "energy" law. If I want to pay for my gas hot water to get hot water for my wash, then I should be able to do so. That choice has been removed.

Great Washer

I have a winter home in Florida and bought it in 2015. The house has a washer but it was worn out. I bought a GE washer to replace the old washer and I have found it priced right and meeting my needs for a new washing machine. I use only cold water for the machine and it does a great job.

When my old washer died mid-cycle, I was happy to find this washer at my local appliance store. We brought it home, hooked it up, and I continued doing my laundry without a hitch. The washer is easy to use, very quiet (which I especially appreciate), energy efficient, and cleans my clothes noticeably better than my old one. So, yes, I am delighted with my purchase.
