Very Disappointed

The first machine would not spin properly. It would throw the clothes to one side and the washer would shake violently. Returned the machine and got a 2nd one. This one had a faulty water solenoid that mixed the hot and cold water with the machine off. The only way to get hot water in the machine was to turn the cold water valve off. When the machine was off the hot and cold water still mixed and did not have any hot water thorough out the house. Returned this one and bought a different brand. The features and appearance of the machine were excellent. The actual working of the machine was unacceptable. I am a retired Quality Engineer/Manager and expect the product to work as shipped. You definitely have to take some corrective action. This review is just for your information and gentle heads up so you can correct the problems. This is the 2nd review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only purchased a second washer from GE to get the promised refund for the service call. I will never purchase another GE product.

Hope GE lasts longer than just a year

Previous non-GE electronic washer lasted just over a year. Service for this electronic washer did not pass the reset check and repair would have been more than replacement. The one previous to that lasted 15+ years. I wish I had gotten that fixed.
I hope this one at least lasts longer than a year. It has electronic parts but hope It's planned to work for many years.
I do have a GE range and refrigerator that have done well over several years. Thank you.

Basic washer with no electronics

I really like this washer because it doesn't lock the door and doesn't have electonic start. The only thing I don't like is that it wrinkles the clothes more than my old washer did. It is very quiet and washes well. I liked the Filter Flo my old GE had.

Washing machine

It is a very good machine with nice features however it won't allow hot water to be hot ! So I have to use a hose attached to my sink to get hot water .
I would recommend this to a friend!
