I had to replace my older model with this one. The older one had more features that really worked for me better.

inefficient

I am very disappointed with the performance of this washer. After using all GE products for 16 years. I based my choice for replacing my washer based on that positive experience, but this washer is inefficient and of tinny construction.
I cannot get a "hot wash and it has slow agitation.

Very pleased with purchase

I purchased this washer several months ago and I am very pleased with it. It is a basic washer - it washes, rinses and dries and does it relatively quickly, and the capacity of the washer is adequate for our needs as a 2 person family. I did not want a front loading machine, and was looking for a reasonably priced machine that didn't have a lot of bells and whistles. This machine agitates the clothes and uses an appropriate amount of water... (I never felt that models that used low levels of water really got clothes washed and rinsed cleanly,...and they seem to take a long time to complete a cycle). The wash cycle in this machine is much quicker than my last machine (which results in the usage of less electricity...and, since we wash at least load a day, we even noticed a difference in our electric bill). White clothes are whiter! My husband even commented on the difference. All in all we are very pleased with our purchase -- it does what we want it to do. It produces clean clothes in a shorter period of time, for less cost.
Cons: These are unimportant to me.....
The machine has a basic appearance, not updated and sophisticated like others. The wash drum is not stainless steel.

The door is thin and not very solid. The water levels are too low.

Very low water level. Didn't even cover the clothe

This washers water level doesn't even cover the clothes unless you do a small load on lathe setting. A small load is only a couple of items
