i purchased this washer three months ago. i carefully researched before purchasing, but paid more attention to those who praised the machine. i liked it at first, but time has told the real story. you really can only fill it to the middle of the tub for an "extra-large" load (unless you want to babysit it & hold the reset knob to override the water level every single time). the agitator is quiet, i will give it that much, but the spin cycle is very noisy & clothes get tied in knots and still come out soaking wet. towels & linens previously in good condition are being ripped to shreds in this washer. it's probably ok if you just wash a load or two each week, but i can assure it turns out a regrettable purchase, otherwise. too bad i can't take it back now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor design

This washer has several "fails".
If you lift the lid, and leave it up, the timer keeps going thru all the cycles, except it doesn't do any of them, just times out eventually.
After the first wash and spin, if you turn it off and return the timer selection control back to start over again, before you can turn it on again, it runs the agitator for 10 seconds with no water in the tub.
The second rinse is a "low water" rinse, unless you select power rinse. I turned it to power rinse, removed the knob and threw it away.
With a design like this, I wouldn't let those engineers pack my parachute.

This machine does not have a delicate cycle and I am not happy with it. So sorry I purchased it and wish I could trade it in.
