Spin cycle problems!

I bought this washer on April 10, 2015 and on April 30, 2016 it started to have spin cycle problems. Had to manually get it to restart the spin cycle three times before it worked. I am very concerned that this will be a future often reoccurring issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am definitely a GE fan. Been very happy for years with all my GE appliances!!! The new washer was installed yesterday and I am very, very satisfied with it's performance. I was most impressed with the 'quietness' during operation and ease of use. Thank you, GE, for your wonderful appliances!!!

This washer does exactly what I want it to do. No bells and whistles, washes clothes, spins them perfectly, synces with the dryer perfectly and no lock! No more electronic models for me, this if just what I was looking for and it really does the job. I can even fit my king size quilts in it with no problem. I am loving doing laundry again!

Not what I expected!

Does not perform well....Twists the clothes all up or goes out of balance too often.
Tries to rinse clothes with about an inch of water, which does not work. And does more spinning than anything else...Actually it is the worst washer I ever owned & I am almost 80 yrs. old.

the worst washer machine ever

I can never forget myself for buying this stupid machine. That shut ripped all my clothes. My clothes kept getting stuck on the inside it's take me my husband to get it out.

If I had it to do over, would buy any other brand. So noisy I can hear it throughout the entire house. Drives my animals crazy.

Very quiet and efficient

I got this through my home warranty when the old unit at my house went bad about a month ago. I feel it does a great job while being efficient with water resources. Additionally, with its use of gears rather than a motor, it's the quietest washer I have ever dealt with.
