Basic Washing Machine

I bought this washer because of its size, not because of the price or the features. I live in a condo with limited space for a side-by-side washer and dryer. My previous washer fit well and had a lot of features and benefits. The one before that one, too. I have found that the "white" cycle on this machine is pretty violent and a camisole was damaged during this cycle. I have learned to always put anything with straps into a mesh bag and to pretty much avoid the "white cycle" unless I am sure that nothing can get caught by the center agitator. Other than those lessons, the machine is okay. It washes. It fits the space. That's about the best I can say.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the simplicity of use and the agitator!

After using a front loader washer with no agitator which I hated the entire 10 years it lived, I was thrilled to find a washer with an agitator and no ridiculous amount of wash cycle choices. The one thing that would make it better is if it didn't insist on making the hot water setting lukewarm. Regardless of the new detergents that clean well in less than hot water, there are instances when you need to wash in scalding hot water. God forbid a family with kids get head lice because washing in lukewarm water won't work. Just sayin'. So my washer only gets 4 stars when if the hot water setting really was hot water it would have gotten 5 stars!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Simple basics.

Bought the pair a couple months ago and very pleased with cleaning and quiet operation. Does not allow for hot water wash, but does not seem to be a problem.

Just what we wanted

We had to replace our 32-year-old washing machine and I polled my co-workers to see if there were any strong opinions (both good and bad). After receiving lots of feedback we chose this model for its simplicity and the fact that it was a top loader and still had the agitator.

At last! Clean clothes

I was glad to find a washer with an agitator, adjustable water levels, no locking lid and one that washes the clothes IN the water. I've done 6 loads on clothes, sheets, towels - all came out perfect! Very Happy!

Good enough for the price

I bought this to replace my old washer and it has been running good. It was so silent at the start of it, you would wonder if it was running. But then when it starts the spinning cycle, it gets loud, like an airplane engine.
