We bought our GE washer last year. I am so glad we did! After having problems with constantly having service calls for our other new washer, it's awesome I hadn't needed to call and it still works great!

The washer works great. Very quiet. When the basket is too heavy (for example: filled with towels) it errors and doesn't work. But I suppose that happens to all other washers nowadays.

HOT WATER DOESN'T WORK

Our washer will not run hot water and we really really need it. My husband works outdoors and his clothes are caked in mud. The only reason we haven't pursued this issue is because we run it as long as possible on the toughest cycle twice!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
