Hot water wash = Tepid water

I have had this washer 2 weeks now and very disappointed. Government Energy Saving mandate restricts the amount of hot water coming into the tub. Hot wash actually means room temperature water. If I want to get a hot wash I have to turn off the cold water valve leading to my washer and it runs hot water into the tub at a trickle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have always got the best results from GE applianaces and this new washing machine is no different! We love the ease of use and the end result very clean clothes. And the people at Home Depot are the best!

Worst Investment Ever

I bought this washing machine in November. The fins on the agitator has broken and it took 2 service calls to get it fixed, one to diagnose one to wait for the part. There was a weird scraping and when I called repairman back, he said to order another fin for agitator because it's about to begin again. It's been 2 weeks since he was last out to fix the machine! This washed is ruining my clothes. I have had to take 3 days off work to fix, and I still have to go to the laundromat. I have been trying to return and upgrade, as this washing machine is never going to work as it should without having to be repaired every 2 weeks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

BEST WASHER IVE PURCHASED TO DATE

I just bought this washer and i also bought the dryer as well. I must say im in love already!!being a mother of two i wash at least 3 times a week and i needed a washer with old school washing with a modern look that could hold up to that standard which is making sure my clothes and my children clothes are clean as well.

So Quiet, yet So Efficient

Wimpy Washer!

The water does Not get hot. The water is barely lukewarm. The tub doesn't fill completely with water. We will return. After purchasing we read several reviews with the same problems. We won't buy GE.
