I hate the agitation of this washer. I hate the water levels. It barely covers the laundry and agitation barely moves the clothes around. I know all the new washers are like this but since it doesn't work well they need to go back to the old ways.Also the knobs are flimsy. When you adjust anything it feels like they are going to fall off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The washer has good features and is easy to use, but the lack of hot water is most bothersome!

I guess I am old school, I would prefer if the agitation was more vigorous. I'm concerned that my clothes are not getting clean with such soft agitation.
