Great washing machine, but a couple of things....

I bought the basic--top load and the controls are knobs. 3 things I wish were different---when you lift the lid, the agitation stops. No matter what you do, it stops (I don't have small children, so there is no safety hazard here). Next, the water doesn't fill as much as it needs to for a full load, in my opinion. There is a button where you can fill as much as you like, and I do this almost every time. Lastly, the agitation doesn't seem very agitating (thus, the reason I like to look in on the clothes when they are being washed). My old washing machine, a GE, by the way, lasted >13 years (I bought it used), and it had a place where you could trip the button and watch the cycle/agitator and it would get with it! But, things change and newer models are much safer, I'm sure....
Otherwise, it gets the clothes clean, it is not noisy, it is smaller than my last machine and fits easier in the washroom area. There is a place to add chlorine bleach if needed. I wanted a basic model that would last another 13+ years, and hopefully that's what I got!

I like the washer but the water level is not good because when you put it on Extra Large it doesn't even go to the top of the drum & I have never had a washer do this???

I love the fact that this washer doesn't set its own water levels. I can set the water level, as I want. Runs very quietly.

No "HOT" water

I bought this over a month ago. There is no "HOT" water available yet it has a choice for hot. The tub is too deep. If you are short you need something to retrieve the smaller items in the bottom after the wash. The water levels are very low. Even when ex-large load is selected the water level is low.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good old fashioned washer

We bought this 3 months ago and have been pleased. We especially like the fact that does not have a locking lid. Also it is not a high efficiency so it doesnt take as long wash a load. And is extremely quiet.

Love it but might go with the hydra wave

I lobe the washer love the spin speed and love love love that there is no lid lock but the suspension could be better i gotnit because of the spin speed and the quiteness but evey now and the. You will hear the suspension making creeking noices so thats the inly isuue but other than that i love
