Perfect Size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had not known about this heater for nurseries and I am very pleased with it. It has great safety features that make it turn off when tipped over, the turn on switch is not easily accessible to children and the cord tucks away inside. Overall I'm loving it. The heat is not overpowering where it would be too hot for my child, it is very subtle and perfect. I absolutely prefer this heater to others as it is perfect for a baby room. I am glad I was able to sample.
Pros: Small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this in my 4 year olds room since he can't sleep unless it's really warm. The heater does a great job of warming up my sons room with continuous or the auto fan setting. It is super quiet which I love! The safety features of this heater are great, it's not hot to the touch which is great for little fingers. It also has a safety shut off if excessive heat detected (i.e a blanket covering it) and also if the heater gets knocked over. I took away one star because I wish there was some type of safety feature from keeping kids with messing with the top buttons. Overall it works great for us.
Pros: Quiet, Safety

Could be better

The thermostat is useless. Being in a nursery, I want to be able to set the temperature to a specific set of degrees, or close to it. Tried for a week to play around with this and it's always either too hot or too cold. I wouldn't recommend this. You'll never be able to sleep at night not knowing if your kid is freezing or burning up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Needs another safety feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our home is a bit older and drafty in our bedrooms which is fine for us, but chilly for our kiddos. He started sleeping so much better once we got this heater. I love all the safety settings and different features. It's very easy to use and very portable. We take it on vacation and even put it in different rooms in our house for warmer play times. It is also very quiet when it's on. It really feels like this product was designed with parents in mind. Vornadobaby Tempa Nursery Heater, is pretty cool
Pros: Auto Shutoff, Cord keeper, Easy to travel with, Limited noise

Horrible smell

How can this product be safely sold for baby rooms if you can't even turn it on out of the box without having to air out the whole house afterwards?! The smell it leaves in just a few minutes is very strong and invasive. I've experienced similar horrible smells with cheap space heaters not intended for babies and children, but I am shocked that Vornadobaby doesn't do better for this product. Very disappointed.

Adorable and Usable

I've only tested this out a little bit due to it being summer and no need for a heater in NC! But I love it and I can't wait for winter so I can get full use out of this. It heats the room gently and thoroughly. Constant circulation helps it stay at the perfect temperature, which is the best for little ones. My first thoughts when opening Sunny were 'this is awesome, i love it already'. the one complaint I do have is that you have to open this and get it out of the box to sit for awhile because it has a very strong newness smell. I just wouldn't want that around my baby. So after thorough airing out, I introduced Sunny to my little girl, 9 months old. She was also excited! She crawled over to it and began touching. I had it unplugged. She couldn't find the cord storage if she had tried any harder! Which I love because if I plan to sit this in her reach that won't be a worry. She couldn't get her little fingers in the slits at all!! And she couldn't push the button to try to turn it on either!! YAY! Successful baby proofing right there! She manages to work everything! When on the heater stayed cool to the touch and shut off when I tipped it over. I'd buy this over and over again and am thinking of buying some to gift to my friends who are expecting! I did receive this free of charge to test and review!

Wonderful for small rooms!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product in my childs room to keep it warmer than the rest of the house at night and it works perfectly! I love that it has a child-proof switch on the on/off switch to keep children from turning it on and when it is turned on if if happens to fall over it automatically turns itself off!
Pros: Compact, has safety features, heats well
