I have a light beard and this razor does not do the job.

Probably the worst electric Razor that I have ever owned. Not a close shave at all.
Cons: does not give a close shave.

I have been using a Norelco electric razor since I received one as a gift from my parents upon college graduation in 1952. I only strayed once on a recommendation of a fellow coworker to another brand, but quickly returned. I can honestly say I've never been disappointed with Norelco, including my latest razor, 1160X. However, the plastic head protector broke after a short time on this latest model due to it's unique design when one of it's "wings" broke off.
Pros: very reliable for a smooth shave

Gave this shaver to my husband for Christmas. He says it shaves very close with no razor burn on his sensitive skin. Loves the sleek design. The fact that it is wet or dry shaver is just a wonderful added bonus. Fabulous product from a great company.

It is a disappointment because of the shave and the difficulty in shaving. I was looking forward to using it after I received it as a gift. now I have gone back to my years old razor.

Thank you for your feedback. We would suggest that you follow these steps.Move the shaving heads over the skin, making both straight and circular movements.Your skin may need 2-3 weeks to get accustomed to this Philips system.To prevent damage, put the protection cap on the shaver after use.

i have been using your razors for 53 yrs, i like the 1150x the best as ican use shaving gel & get a closer shave.
Pros: can use shaving gel, closer shave

Performance is my biggest complaint. It takes a long time to get a
close shave. I need to go over and over the same area to get the
desired closeness. I really don't like the idea of not keeping it charged all the time. This seems to affect the quality of a shave as

Not worth the inflated price

Proformance is over stated in their advertising. The shaver did not preform any better than lesser models. I am a senior and have shaved with electric razors all my adult life.
Pros: none
Cons: over priced it does not preform better than others
