I don't feel it does a very good job for what you pay for. The design is good. It just does not seem like the razor does a very clise shave. I have to use a regular razor afterwards for many spots the electric razor messes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The razor definitely gives a closer shave than my old one. However, I miss the convenience of just flopping up the side burn trimmer, on this model you have to change heads.
Pros: close comfortable shave
Cons: changing heads for side burn trimming is a pain

My only complaint is that it does not shave as close as a twin blade razor does, and it doesen't shave more than a 1 day growth.
Pros: great style battery keeps a charge for a long tim
Cons: doesen't shave more than a 1 day growth.

The only drawback I have found to this shaver is the blades do seem to get dull quickly. Perhaps it's just my beard, but I purchased this shaver 6 months ago, and I already need new blades. But otherwise, you will love this shaver, its features, and the price!
