Norelco razor works well, but still requires multiple shaves to completely do the job

I've had my Norelco for a while now. It works fairly well; however, it still requires multiple shaves to completely remove facial hair.
Pros: quick charging, smooth glide
Cons: requires multiple passes to shave

Buy another product for a good shave

This product looks beautiful but gives an unacceptable shave. You have to work hard over and over in any area to get it within a close shave but never achieving it. Cutting hairs close to the nose is implossible because of the design. I have an eighth inch of dark hair under the nose which cannot be cut and have to use a blade razor.
Having to attach a new head to trim sideburns is a pain.
If I could, I would ask for a refund. Buy another razor
Pros: looks great
Cons: shave is unacceptable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not as concenient as my previous Philips electric shaver

With the detachable trimmer, it is not as convenient as my previous electric shaver. To trim my beard and sideburns, I need to find the trimmer, since their is no convenient storage case, and my drawer is full of other junk.

Norelco 1150x

For over 30 years, I have only used Norelco shavers and the 1150x is the best one yet. The shave is comfortable and yet so close that I can often skip a day. It is very quiet, and I only have to recharge the batteries about every two weeks. I definitely preferred the pop up trimmer that was on my old shaver, but I understand that with the new head design, having a trimer included in the head was not possible. My old shaver had a much larger capacity to collect shaving clippings and I only had to clean it about once a week. The new head design is much thinner and very easy to remove... so I usually clean it after every shave. Rinsing the head with water only creates an additional mess, so I find it much easier to remove the head and use the included brush to clean the shaver and empty the clippings. I only shave dry, so I have never used the wet shave feature.
