This razor is the best we've ever had.

We bought this razor to replace a Braun that I had used for almost 12 years. The Braun was an excellent choice and lasted a very long time. My chin has a dimple and I had a difficult time getting a good shave in this area. The screen on the Braun simply wasn't able to give me a good shave. The rotating, flexing heads on the Norelco were designed to give me a really close shave even with my dimple. I loved the Braun for it's durability and long life, but the Norelco has been in use for over a year with superior results. If it lasts half as long as the Braun, I'll be happy. I had paid about $250 for the Braun about 13 years ago. It was a great shaver, but 12 years is a long time. I hope the Norelco lasts half as long. It is a really good razor.
Pros: rotating flexing heads., holds a charge over one week.
Cons: harder to clean than the braun.

I was looking for an electric razor to shave my bald head daily with. I had been using shaving cream and a razor in the past. This electric razor does a good job of shaving my bald head, takes about the same amount of time as using the shaving cream/razor method. I like that I also use it to shave my face and it does a very good job at that.

Decent shave, engineering nightmare

I have had this razor for about a year and just had my third blade head fall apart upon cleaning. These can not be be reassembled by the consumer and are expensive to replace. I don't understand why a company would attempt to bring such a user unfriendly product to market. It gives a decent shave but is just not serviceable in my opinion.
Pros: good shave
Cons: poor repair record
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have not experienced any razor irritation or discomfort during the several months of shaving each and every day. The very first day I used the shaver felt like a soft hand caressing my face.
