Has great battery life and is very portable. I travel alot being in the military and it has been really good so far. Not as smooth I a shave as I was hoping for but overall pretty good. I use this razor everyday of the week and have some problems getting a good shave on my upper lip. I would and do still recommend this product to all my friends.
Moving up from a 7345XL that served me well. The DualPrecision heads GyroFlex 2D contouring system sounded great, but doesn't give me the close shaves that the 7345XL gave me. Wet shaving is comfortable but not as close as my old shaver (even when used dry). Maybe the 3D models would be a better choice for me. The beard trimmer is awesome and I love it! The 2D heads are probably the problem and rethinking that my choice should have been the higher priced 8100 series. Still it's a solid shaver, just not what I expected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replaced a Norelco with a Norelco and the reason is the first one was a very good razor!
I find this product to a good one but the constant shaving in the same area can be frustrating. I find myself shaving for 5 minutes instead of the 2 minutes it would take me with a razor.
Pros: great battery life
Cons: blades aren't really sharp enough for a closer sha
Very poor design making the shaver impossible to use.

Even though I have never "intentionally" removed the Shaver Head to interchange it with the Trimmer Head, the Shave Head FREQUENTLY falls off during normal shaving, making the impossible to use!
Indeed, if the Shaver Head were to fall on a tile floor, it would probably become damaged, so I have stopped using this product, even though I only received it as a gift in December 2011
