While It's a little rough if you use it dry, I would expect all electric razors to be the same. This razoe can be used with any gel product and works well cutting through the gel so that's not an issue, and it works great in the shower. When using it at a sink, I wash the head often while shaving, and the water comes out a hole in the bottom of it, which tends to run down my arm. If used regularly it keeps the hair trimmed, but if used after like 2 days, it doesn't hurt when cutting through the forest.
Pros: usable in the shower, easy to clean, good feel
Cons: hole in the bottom for water to run through, head doesn't turn left or right only flexes.

Good razor, like the feature of using it with shaving cream so as not to get the burn I have had from other electric razors. Only problem I have had is it does not shave close enough. I can still feel stuble after using it for 10 minutes. I usually have to use a blade razor to finish up and smooth my face.
Pros: use with water or shave gel
Cons: does not shave close enough

This shaver really lives up to its description. The shave is very smooth and it easily catches those more difficult hairs. It seems to work well whether you and/or the shaver are wet or dry. After several months of use it is just as smooth as the week I bought it - probably smoother even. It doesn't hurt that the shaver has a very sleek, modern look to it so you can leave it on the bathroom counter without shame.
