I received this as a gift last Christmas. I was a little wary because I have sensitive skin and electric razors often cut my neck no matter what I do. For a few years I used non-electric, and was doing just fine. But when I got this as a gift, I decided to try it out, and I've been very pleased with it.
It's the best shave that I can get with an electric razor: on par with a non-electric. I still get small nicks every once in a while, but that's no fault of the product (I blame bad genes).
Pros: smooth shave, good battery life
Cons: a bit slow, only charges on the cradle

Could not be more pleased with this item. Battery life is exceptional, shaving experience is exceptional. Very easy to clean, and very good close shave.
Pros: battery life excetional
Cons: wish charging stand was different.

Shaver Used by Father & Son

One of my morning chores involves getting my son to shave. He is a young adult with autism. He enjoys the use and the results of this wet/dry razor. Either of us can pick up the razor at different times, before, during or after showering. We were both amazed that the same appliance can be used everywhere from a car to the bathtub. It is used with or without shaving cream, depending on how much of a hurry each of us is experiencing. Now, my son often shaves himself and proudly shows the results to me. And it sits easily in the charger, keeping it ready to use at any time.

This razor did not shave very well.

This razor did not shave as good as my old Norelco (7180XL). I had a new battery put in the old razor and am using it again. I returned the new razor to Norelco because I was not satisfied with it and received the purchase price back. I have used Norelco's for 50 years and have always been completely satisfied until I bought this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my third and best Norelco electric shaver. Design allows a very comfortable and close shave. It is a little on the big size and bulky for travel. So far I am on my second week without plugging it in to charge. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars on the ease of use is that it is a little difficult to clean. I would definitely purchase another Norelco and recommend it to all my friends and family.
Pros: close shave, comfortable to use (blade angles while using)
Cons: not easy to clean, little bulky for travel

Since purchasing this product, it has many qualities. It is light, ergonomic, and smooth on the skin(I have sensitive skin). The shave quality is exceptional, just like a razor.
