Good but plastic cover broke no memory of abuse

Battery last long and the unit shaves well. Happy with that.
The protective cover broke, no dropping or banging. Just went to put it on and it broke. I have seen similar comments in other reviews.
Wish this had a travel case, even as an optional item. Hard to pack as is.
Pros: godd battery life
Cons: plastic cover does not hold up, no travel bag/case availible

Plastic protective cover

I had been using this razor for about 2 months. The plastic cover broke without misuse. Phillips Norelco needs to find a better quality plastic to protect the razor heads. Shaving quality is good, neck area needs repeated going over. Not sure if I can clean the heads with hot water.

I had tried three other brands and non worked well at all. This Norelco has met my needs totally. It appears that other brands just would not give me a close shave because they have attempted to add too many bells and whistles that appear good on paper but have lessened the efficiency of the cutting aspects of the shaver. This is not the case with the Norelco shaver 6100.
Pros: shaves well and close., easy to clean, battery charges quickly

Best electric razor I have ever owned!

The battery life is simply amazing! One charge can last me for 1 1/2 weeks, all while at top performance. Since I shave everyday, I find this to be one the most important features to me.
Also, the SensoTouch curves and conforms to my face with ease. I never feel like the hair is being pulled nor cut at the wrong angle.
Everyday shaving with a regular razor blade is a thing of the past!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased it Nov. 20, 2011, three more uses per week.
The crispy skin above the only ON/OFF button is broken already.
And there are four more cracks around the button's cave (see my uploaded pictures please).

I have to press many times to turn it on or off right now, and I am sure it will be dead within a week as it no more waterproof.
I live in LA and I am sure the crispy is not because of cold weather. It is really NOT a good design.

Really like the look but am very disappointed with the performance. I had a Norelco shaver prior to buying this one and thought it would be at least comparable if not better than the old one. Unfortunately, it is not. I had a much better, cleaner shave with the old razor than with the new one. Before, I only had to shave once a day. Now, if I am going out in the evening I need to shave again. I do like the fact that it can be used with shaving cream but even with that, the shave is still not as good as the old razor.
