I'VE BEEN ALIVE FOR 68 YEARS. I HAVE USED PHILIPS-NORELCO SHAVING AND TRIMMING PRODUCTS SINCE MY LATE TEENS.NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED WITH INDIVIDUAL USE OF ANY OF THOSE PURCHASES. I GOT THIS NEW 6100 SHAVER AND AGAIN I'M NOT DISAPPOINTED. THE UPGRADES OF YOUR SHAVERS ARE GREAT AND THIS UNIT --- I HAVE NO REGRETS - THE ONLY PROBLEM IS YOURS!!!!!! THEY HAVE A LONG LIFE. ASIDE FROM REPLACING SHAVER HEAD BLADES. I OWNED MY LAST SHAVER FOR CLOSE TO 6 YEARS. SO THIS MEANS I WON'T HAVE WRITE ANOTHER REVIEW UNTIL I'M 74. I'LL PROBABLY BE USING A PENCIL AGAIN AND TRYING TO FIND ONE OF THOSE THINGS THEY CALL A STAMP.

The charging station is poorly constructed it will not sit upright without leaning against something. Very inconvenient. Shaves well. Holds charge well. Good valve for price paid.

I have used your shavers for 30 plus years. I have viewed this unit several times online before buying it. At first I did not like the new floating head unit as much as my older triple head Norelco. It just didn't shave me any better than the older one.
This left me feeling like why did I buy this new floating head shaver? However, I started holding the new shaver under the heads instead of holding the base. This enabled me to press the razor harder against my face and beard. I now feel the newer razor is shaving better than the older one.
Pros: better design with the floating head
Cons: trimmer sould be part of the trimmer

I've always used and enjoyed Norelco shavers. I enjoy the wet / dry feature and the flexing heads but I don't get the close shave I'm used to with my previous razors.
Pros: flex heads, wet and dry feature
Cons: does not give a close shave
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A really good Razor

By and large this is a real good razor. It takes a little longer to get use to it than other Norelcos I have had.
Pros: close shave.
Cons: takes a while to get use to.

I have owned a few electric shavers through the years and still have not found one that will shave as close as a bladed razor. Still looking

Works fine, is comfortable on the face no snags very smooth. Glides with the contour of your face and I have a heavy beard. I also have a goatee and the only place that it is a little touchy is near my mustache. Yhe best electric shaver I have used so far
