I wish I could still return this product. I am not a particularly hairy individual, but I do require shaving a few times a week. Despite having sparse, silky facial hair, I found it very time consuming to achieve a clean grill with this product; almost always, miscellaneous strands remained scattered about my visage, each one reminiscent of the tree to which Smokey the Bear clung, jutting bravely from the ashes of the scorched earth. Although a vivid reminder of the dangers of forest fires, it is not the look I desire for my stately countenance.
This must be the worst electric razor I have ever had.

This is the third razor I have used from Philips. The first I loved and would still be using it but the heads became unavailable. The second was bulky to handle and did not shave as well. I thought the third razor would give me similar results of the first and was extremely disappointed.
This shaver gives a great shave. Very comfortable to use. I like the wet feature, and using shave cream, very much. This gives a fabulously smooth shave. The only draw back is the trimmer. My old Norelco had a attached trimmer that was easy and quick to use. Taking the head off the 1150X to attach the trimmer is a bit uneasy. I am afraid of damaging the head or the shaver itself.
Pros: great shave!
Cons: trimmer feature.

It runs a long time on a single battery charge, shaves adequately for me, does not shave as close as my old blade razor and is difficult for me to clean. I take blood pressure medicine and must avoid cuts and scratches. This product does not cut and scratch like my old blade razor.
Pros: relatively inexpensive., many shaves on one charge.
Cons: inadequate shave for business (i am retired)., difficult to clean.
I am a die hard Norelco fan. My old cordless triple head was slowing down after 10+ years. I requested this model from Santa as a compromise between cost and performance. The pros are the ergonomics, feels great in your hand. The cons are the shaving results. It takes me longer to shave with the new shaver than my old one. The triple head makes all the difference, but I couldn't see paying twice the cost for a new triple head. I'd do things differently next time. I feel because it takes longer, I also get more shaving rash. Still a Norelco fan, just got the model.
Overall easy to handle and shaves close. easy to clean the head and replace blades.
Pros: manoverability
I would recommend this to a friend!

Received this shaver as a Xmas present and was excited at first, saw the three head blades , easy to grip handle , recharging dock. Till my first time using it. Found it very poor cutting my one day old facial hair. Had to go over the same spot over and over and over, up down straight, side ways. Told by friends many times " Oh You Missed A Spot Shaving. Embarrassing. :-( you need to improve your products a lot more before I buy another one from Norelco.
Pros: holds charge long time
Cons: not worth the money too hard to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello,
We’re sorry for the disappointment you’ve had with our Philips Norelco electric razor.
Please follow the below given steps for better experience in using our product for shaving.
• Move the shaving heads over the skin, making both straight and circular movements.
• Your skin may need 2-3 weeks to get accustomed to this Philips system.
• To prevent damage, put the protection cap on the shaver after use.
Your first shaves may not give you the result you expect and your skin may even become slightly irritated. This is not uncommon since your skin and beard need time to adapt to any new shaving system.
It is recommended to take into account an adaptation period of 3 weeks, during which you should shave regularly (at least 3 times per week) to allow your hair and skin to adapt to the new shaver.
During this period, use your new electric shaver exclusively and do not alternate shaving methods; alternating shaving methods makes it more difficult to adapt to the new shaving system.
