This is the first good quality electric razor I have owned. I tried foil type years back and quickly stopped using because it always burnt my face. This razor does not burn my face and gives a pretty close shave if I take my time. My old bladed razor is still faster and closer shave. Have been using the electric consistently since January 2012.
Pros: fairly close shave.
Cons: slower then bladed razor. takes multiple passes.

Wonderful on sensitive skin

I've always had trouble with traditional razors. The skin on my face is so sensitive, I'd always get razor burn, ingrown hairs, etc. With this electric razor, I'm able to shave everyday, I don't need aftershave lotions, disinfectants, etc. Best of all: NO RAZOR BURN. Ever.
My only problem with this product, is that there is a minor bit of stinging if I go too far down my throat while shaving under my chin, but that's below the hairline, so it's not a huge issue.
This is great to use in the shower. I get a smooth close shave every time with no facial irritation.
The battery life is great, I use it for 3-4 days between charges, and have yet to see the low battery light turn on
I do keep a traditional razor around for trimming my sideburns and the area just under my nose, as the edging razor attachment doesn't shave very close and I've not found a good use for it yet.

simple, easy to use

The wash-up with water is a nice feature as well as the re-charging stand. Simple, easy to use at a reasonable price. I didn't buy the high-end model so is lacking a little in power but otherwise a good buy that I would recommend to others. It is easy to pack and use on a trip is why I bought it.
Pros: wash-up in water
Cons: a little weak power-wise

A very good shaver

I have been using the 1150x for about a year. It's probably the best shaver I've ever used. My only complaint is that the design of the heads makes it hard to get into tight area (like right under my nose). Other than that, it works great. The battery life is excellent. i can take it on two week business trips without worrying about recharging. I would recommend this shaver.
Pros: very close shave, long battery life.
Cons: hard to reach tight areas.

I am a commited NORELCO user. I have bought and used several Norelcos' over the past 55 years.I have tried a few of the brands but none can even come close in comparison.The 1150X is by far the best Norelco yet. Thank you for continuing to manufacture quality products.Bill
