This is my first shaver of this design. I get a faster, closer shave than with my previous razors. I have a mustache and chin whiskers, and I find that the trimmer blade doesn't do as good a job as what I've been used to, mostly because it is so narrow.

I have had this product for two-three months, I have not had any issues. I haven't even charged it yet and I use it everyday! I thought that I would use traditional shaving cream and blades forever; until one day I realized how much time it takes, and how much unnecessary waste I was contributing. This Product is FAST at shaving my beard, I am finished in less than a minute. I was afraid I would wake up my family in the morning but, it whispers so quietly my wife asked me if I was using it in my truck on my way to work! Cleaning is so easy a four year old could do it; just release the catch, tap out the trimmings, swipe it with the provided brush or you can flush it with water! I am so happy with my purchase of the Philips Norelco wet and dry electric razor I hope that it will still be around when my beard turns grey.
Pros: shaves quickly, battery charge lasts months, wet and dry use, easy to clean, very quiet, fits comfortably in hand

Over all this is a very good product. I find it works better as a wet shaver than when shaving "dry". In fact the cutting feature in dry mode is a bit disappointing. The shaving heads don't seem sharp enough.

Cons: needs better cutting heads

I have used Philips razors for more than a decade. These were always excellent from all points of view. They provided pouches for travel and lasted a long time. Norelco leaves much to be desired in comparison.
Pros: design, battery life
Cons: effectiveness

I have tried (and wasted a lot of money) over the past 50 years trying all sorts of shavers. None of them were even moderately successful. But this one Really works. The first one that I really like. I only have to shave once a day!
