Got this razor in January. I have been a long time Norelco user (61 years old). It was very quiet at first (big plus), but has gotten continuously more noisy with use. Otherwise OK so far.

I,ve had Norelco shavers in the past with cords on them. They lasted forever. I like the idea of cordless rechargeable. The charge lasts a month. It gives a nice smooth close shave. I just used the dry shave so far someday soon I will try the wet shave.

From the short time I have had to use this shaver, it has worked quite well. My beard is tough, especially around my chin (below the jaw line).
I haven't had any problems with the placement of the power switch. So far the head has been very easy on my skin (no biting/pulling of hair) giving me a very clean shave.
