This is the quietest, smoothest cutting Norelco shaver I've ever owned, and I get 30-40 shaves on a charge. I ojnly shave dry so I can't comment on wet shaving.
Pros: easy on the skin.
Cons: nooks & crannies make it a bit more work to clean

This is a quiet razor. I have had earlier Norelco Models. It is very easy to clean (hot water). Those are the good points. However, it does not give a close shave no matter what I do. I have had it for about 3 weeks and it still doesn't work well. Norelco says it takes time for it to adjust; I AM STILL WAITING. At this point I am underwhelmed.
Pros: quiet, easy to clean
Cons: poor shave
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As soon as I'm off Coumadin, I'm going back to a blade. It's just not as close as I'd like. My beard is very light and has never been tough, so my expectation was higher for a close shave.
Pros: i can't cut myself with it
Cons: not as close as a blade

I do wish it did a better job of giving you a closer shave. I do however like it otherwise. I especially like the features of a light telling you when ready for recharging and only taking an hour to recharge. It lasts longer on one charge as well which is nice. It is very comfortable in you hand when shaving as well. The only thing I could hoope for is little closer shave. there may be a better way to get that.
Pros: fast charge, charge last long time
Cons: close shave
